The scope however will include other regional partnerships such as music, apps in full conjunction with our global team. It will also be the source of consolidated input on these future regional partnership opportunities. The role will report into the EMEA head of Sales and be based in Dublin. There could be some flexibility on location where it makes sense. The candidate will work very closely with our global payments team and be an integral part of our company wide payments initiative. Fitbit, the global leader in connected health and fitness wearables, is a working on an easy, secure way to make purchases at stores around the globe—right from your Fitbit— no phone or wallet necessary. This Business Development Director, EMEA - Payments and Partnerships will support our regional engagement with banks and networks, helping manage customer success from implementation of tokenization projects to developing and implementing strategic partnerships across marketing, products, technology, process and management reporting. Partnership opportunities for our brand are multiple, and not limited to the payments eco-system. They include brand partnerships across Health, fitness and wellness. Enhancing our product and platform portfolio, brand synergies and new channels. **Responsibilities and skills** + With guidance from Fitbit Headquarters, build a world-class partner ecosystem to support Fitbit payment and NFC initiatives + Be the go-to contact point for the EMEA region for mutualy beneficial partnerships encompasiing brand initiatives, product and platform collaborations and channel development. + Manage activation of existing Global brand partnerships and develop a pipeline of opportunities for new region-specific opportunities. + Implement worldwide partnership activities with Fitbit Sales, Marketing and Product Management, KPIs and objectives of the partner ecosystem to support Fitbit growth in new parts of the market. + Manage day to day EMEA platform partnerships that align with Fitbit’s brand, product and business goals + Manage existing EMEA partnerships and research and develop innovative opportunities for growth + Work cross-functionally with legal, marketing, product, and engineering teams when needed + Deliver defined ROI, key learning’s, reporting and evaluation of partnership impact to support market share growth, brand awareness and incremental sales + Strong understanding of and interest in current trends, patterns, and events in the convergence of personal health and personal wealth + At least 7-10 years of ecommerce and business development managing and nurturing technology partnership deals + Experience creating and implementing programs that support revenue growth and new user value + Comfortable speaking about API’s, SDKs and fluency with data partnerships + Organized, detail oriented team player + Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. + Strong analytical and critical thinking skills + Must be a self-motivated and energetic person that works/plays well with others + Payments experience and contactless in particular + Familiarity with banks and payment networks _Fitbit is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
