The work we re producing has the same high creative standards as Apple s product marketing.
Bring a talent for storytelling, copy crafting, and thought-provoking headlines. In return, you ll experience the opportunities of a small creative group while you enjoy the advantages of a large global company.
Apple leadership thinks of our people as our most important resource, and our work is getting more exposure than ever. Join us and help some of the world s best people realize they have a place at one of the world s best companies.
**Key Qualifications**
* At least seven years of experience writing copy for marketing campaigns, advertising, websites, or editorial pieces for significant brands at an agency or in house.* A portfolio of creative work that demonstrates that those years were well spent. * You should enjoy collaborating with designers, writers and project managers.* You should be good at advocating for your work and getting our business partners all around Apple as excited about it as you are.* You should be good at juggling multiple projects simultaneously. * You ll take all the work seriously, from little, quick assignments to big, juicy projects.* You need to be good at expressing a unique thought as an interesting headline that resonates with the audience. And just as good at supporting it with thoughtful, persuasive body copy. * You should be curious. Curious about subject matter like our recruitment partners business issues (for example, retail stores, engineering, enterprise sales, or Caff Macs). And you should be curious about what our audience thinks about those job opportunities and about Apple as a whole.**Description**
Here are some things you ll do:
Collaborate with our team of writers, designers, photographers, and filmmakers.
Write in the Apple voice: simple, smart, natural, and human. With personality, but personality that never gets in the way of clarity. Not dull. Not wacky.
Write from Apple, but to a particular audience. You ll need to care what they re thinking.
Sometimes write for a global audience and sometimes for particular regions, though always in English.
Work with project managers and creative directors to ensure schedules are accurate and realistic or at least real-world realistic and that deadlines are met.
Not put the remnants of a tuna sandwich (for example) in your trash can in an open office, where it will just sit at room temperature, off-gassing all day.
It s good to have one. We like that a college degree says, I committed myself to something for a number of years, and now I know a lot about one thing and a little about a bunch more. That s especially helpful for a writer. So it d be great if you have a BA degree from a school we ve heard of, or at least one that we can look up. But if, for example, you didn t finish school because you were busy focusing on the work that got you a Pulitzer, we might be good with that.
